Jared P. Frantz, M.S.E., CHFP

Mr. Frantz is a Managing Consultant in the Human Factors and Product Safety Group.

His interests include product and occupational safety, transportation human factors, risk assessment and communication, human factors in accident causation, and slip resistance of walking surfaces. He holds an M.S.E. from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering, where he has specialized in product and occupational safety and human factors engineering/ergonomics. He holds certificates from St. Louis University for programs in Product Safety Management and Regulatory Compliance and from Northwestern University for Advanced Accident Reconstruction Utilizing Human Factors Research. He is also a Certified Human Factors Professional.

Mr. Frantz now teaches the Safety Management course in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he twice served as an instructional assistant as a student.

As an undergraduate, he was captain of the University of Michigan Mock Trial team leading the program to two consecutive top four finishes at the national tournament in 2013 and 2014.
